REPORT: PROSECUTING VIOLENCE AND SUICIDE IN ARMED FORCES IN ARMENIA: RESULTS OF COURT MONITORING

Any form of violence or ill-treatment in the armed forces not only violates the rights of military personnel but also undermines the safe, dignified, and professional military environment.

The Protection of Rights Without Borders NGO presents an analysis of judicial practice of cases  on violence and ill-treatment in the armed forces. The report examines the root causes of such abuses and assesses the state’s legal response in light of its human rights obligations.

Through this report, we seek to contribute to a deeper understanding of the issue of violence within the armed forces and to support to the strengthening the effectiveness of prevention mechanisms and accountability measures.
