Summary of the observation results of the election of candidate for the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee

The given policy document or the recommendations are based on the problems detected in the outcomes of the monitoring conducted by the “Protection of Rights without Borders” Non-Governmental Organization. Particularly, the Organization conducted monitoring on judicial cases by civil and administrative cases in correlation of employment related issues.
In the scope of the monitoring, approximately 496 cases on employment relations were monitored, from which 384 decisions by civil and 112 decisions by administrative cases, as well as 123 decisions on discontinuation were adopted. By 94 cases out of 384 monitored civil cases, the employment contract with was terminated as a result of subjecting to disciplinary liability. 62 (66%) appeals out of 94 appeals, respectively were satisfied.
By the monitored cases, a common problem regarding the interpretation and application of the regulations concerning the dismissal of the employee on the ground of the lack of confidence in the employee was recorded.
This policy document was prepared by the “Protection of Rights without Borders” Non-Governmental Organization (hereinafter referred to as the Organization) in the scope of the “EU4LabourRights: Increasing Civic Voice and Action for Labor Rights and Social Protection in Armenia” project (hereinafter referred to as the Project).
