Statement by a Group of Civil Society Organizations on the Strategic Partnership between Armenia and the USA

The current report on “Anti-Armenia Xenophobia and Racism in Azerbaijan, 2021” is the continuation of the report on “Xenophobia in Azerbaijan” published in 2021 and elaborated by number of civil society organization, including Open Society Foundation – Armenia office.
The report summarizes the situation in 2021 and at the beginning of 2022 respectively, which created an atmosphere of fear, incited violence and was considered a threat for the cleanse of ethnic Armenians.
The information presented in the report reveals the continuous genocidal intentions of Azerbaijani authorities against the ethnic Armenian living in Artsakh, which hinders the reconciliation of people in the region and establishment of lasting peace.
The report urges the Republic of Armenia Government, international community to take efficient measures to ensure the long-term and stable security of ethnic Armenians and condemn the Azerbaijani anti-Armenian policy.
