Dainius Puras, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to health had a meeting with civil society organizations on September 27 of 2017
Araks Melkonyan, the legal expert of the “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO also participated in the above mentioned meeting with the Mr. Puras, who raised a number of questions regarding the violations of the right to health within the activities of the Organization and in particular within the scope of protection of people with mental health.
“This visit aim at detecting what kind of work Armenia carries out to guarantee the right to healthcare, including what measures have been carried out till now, what achievements were recorded and what challenges are not overcome” – mentioned Mr. Puras.
