“Promotion of Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Assembly within Civil Society Organizations”

On July 21 of 2017, a Conference on “Promotion of Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Assembly within Civil Society Organizations” was organized on July 21 of 2017. The Conference was organized in partnership with the “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO within the framework of the Black Sea Forum of NGOs by the organizations Global Focus and Civic Initiatives Support Center. Human rights defenders, activists and experts approximately from 10 countries of the region participated in the Conference.

The current situation, problems and risks regarding the protection of the right to freedom of expression and freedom of assemblies in the countries of different regions were presented during the meeting.

As a conclusion to the Conference, Adoption of the Special Human Rights Resolution is intended.
