Strategic Litigation is one of the primary areas of PRWB’s activities. We implement advocacy in key risk areas of human rights protection, establish case laws through successful litigations, promote legislative reforms, enhance the law enforcement practice and influence state policy. To ensure better handling of cases, the organization has developed an exhaustive policy for the evaluation of informational flows and cases of strategic importance. Since 2009, PRWB has pleaded cases in national courts in respect to violations of property rights, freedom of expression, the right to life and murder crime detection, as well as the right to fair trial, the right to health and environmental rights through implementing international tools of human rights protection, including lodging complaints to the European court of Human Rights.
