The draft law on “Making Amendment to the RA Administrative Offences Code” elaborated by the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Justice was presented to public discussion on the Unified website for the publication of legal acts’ drafts on 20.01.2022.
It is recommended by the draft law to essential increase the amount of the penalty set for the violation of the right to freedom of information.
Herein, we present the opinion of the Foundation expertise group on the violation of the right to freedom of information, which was not included in the draft code.
