ECHR Decision. Donev v. Bulgaria

On October 26 of 2021, the European Court of Human Rights adopted an interesting decision on the institute of subjecting the judges to disciplinary sanctioning against Bulgaria. 

The case particularly related to the dismissal of the judge president of the court in the scope of the disciplinary proceeding, based on which the applicant filed applied to the ECHR under the Article 6 of the Convention raising the issue of lack of independence and impartiality of the Supreme Judicial Council and Administrative Court respectively.
