The study was elaborated by the Protection of Rights without Borders NGO with the support of “Open Society Foundations” Armenia Office in 2019.
The current study was conducted based on the division of the main spheres of the judicial self-government bodies, by carrying out an international research based on international criteria, which included research documents related to the resolutions, opinions adopted by the Ministerial Committee of Council of Europe, Advisory Board of the European Judges, Venice Commission and other relevant bodies. The verdicts of the relevant sectors of the European Court of Human Rights were also studied.
Within the scope of the research, the decisions of the Supreme Judicial Council activity for the period of April 9 – December 28 of 2018 was studied.
