Case of Matevosyan v. Armenia

On September 14 of 2017, the European Court of Human Rights made a decision against the Republic of Armenia. According to the decision made by the Court, the state failed to carry out effective investigation of the issue regarding the inhumane treatment raised by the applicant, which resulted in the violation of Article 3 of the Convention in the procedural aspect.
