The European Court of Human Rights will soon examine the next case of political significance received from Armenia. A few days before, the ECHR registered the complaint-applications on the cases of Hovsep Khurshudyan, David Sanasaryan, Armen Martirosyan and Vahagn Ghumashyan. The oppositionists detained after the operations of “Sasna Tsrer” appealed the legitimacy of the decision made on their detention. The oppositionists accused of organizing and participating in mass disorder were detained last summer after the political assemblies held in Sari Tagh on July 29. After spending 1-2 months under detention, the latter were released, except for Andreas Ghukasyan.
