“Protection of Rights without Borders’’ NGO also took part in one of the projects of Europe Day celebration

On May 24 of 2014, The Protection of Rights without Border NGO participated in the expo dedicated to the Europe Day in the Liberty Square.

During the expo, the Organization was presented by its initiative on “Strengthening the Justice System in Armenia through the Study of EU Law”.

The employees of the Organization presented the activities and its outcomes conducted during the implementation of the Project, including also the two workshops, the course materials related to the teaching of the EU Law in the universities, the elaboration of the informative website, the moot court competition, which is organized in the Republic of Armenia for the first time. The winner team will make a study visit to a number of European Union institutions, particularly to the European Court of Justice in Luxemburg etc.

The participants of the informative expo had a great interest especially in “European Union Law” training manual, as well as in the collection on the “The Case Laws of the European Union Court of Justice”.

Train Hristea, the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, getting acquainted to the pavilion of the Protection of Rights without Borders NGO, as well the materials, expressed great inspiration and highlighted the importance of the works of the European Delegation carried out with the Organization.

During the exposition, Train Hristea, the Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Armenia also presented more than 60 projects implemented with the financial support of the European Union in Armenia directed towards education, decrease of poverty, projects directed towards the commerce, youth, culture, environmental protection and other sectors. At the same time, a number of cultural events, workshops were organized during the event.
