Human Rights
The Protection of Rights without Borders “PRWB” NGO is actively engaged in the human rights protection sphere through providing of free legal advice, organizing of human rights trainings, as well as through protecting citizens’ rights in domestic courts and at the European Court of Human Rights.
“Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO follows the approach, that human rights should be protected through the universal generation of respect towards human rights and their maintenance.
In this regard, the Organization carries out the protection of the rights of the children, soldiers, arrestees, trail participants including defendants, victims, witness, as well as people with disabilities, people who were subjected to violence in closes and semi closed institutions.
In the outcomes of the human rights projects implemented by the PRWB, measures were taken directed at the detection of violations of the right to assembly, documentation of the torture, inhumane treatment, protection of the citizens’ rights suffered in the outcomes of the police activities, improvement of the fair trail procedures etc.
The Organization expert elaborated alternative reports, information notes on human rights situation, have conducted legislative analysis and researches, which, on the basis of the international best experience, enabled to reveal the gaps and shortcomings of the legislative regulations and present recommendation package in this regard.
The Organization had its active participation in the policy elaboration process on justice and human rights protection.
