A discussion on “The future of Eastern Partnership: challenges and perspectives” was held on September 26 of 2017.
Piotr Switalski, Ambassador, the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, urged the Armenian authorities not to wait and get prepared for the visa liberalization process between Armenia and the European Union.
Today, during the discussions on the future of the Eastern Partnership, Piotr Switalski, once again attached importance to the EU-Armenia cooperation perspective, highlighting the fact of visa liberalization procedure as a great achievement.
He also briefed on the new agreement to be signed between EU and Armenia on November in Brussels, highlighting Brussels’s positive position: “I believe, that good news will be received for Armenia from the summit in Brussels”.
The Eastern Partnership forum will be held on November 24 in Brussels, during which an agreement on enhanced cooperation between EU and Armenia will be signed.
Irina Sushko, the head of the Ukraine “Europe without Boundaries” NGO also participated in today’s discussions.
“The visa free regime is a realistic procedure and an achievable purpose and in this regard I am offering my support, dear colleagues. I am sure, that Armenia has taken the right path in regard to the contract to be signed on visa liberalization” – mentioned Sushko during her speech.
