On June 22 of 2017, during the investigation of Arayik Khandoyan, amember of the “SasnaTsrer” Armed group a forbidden object was found. During the interview to “A1+” news agency,his defender Arayik Papikyan mentioned that A. Khadoyan was taken to punishment cell for 5 days.
The defender did not want to clarify what kind of forbidden object was found, as long as the Special Investigation Service will announce about it.
As stated by the defender, before being taken to the court, Arayik Khudoyan was subjected to psychological pressurefor silencing him and it’s not accidental. He had not been told that he would be taken to the punishment cell. When he returned from the court, he was not taken to the cell;moreover he was under doctor’s care, he had also disability. According to his defender, he was not provided with food. He had very law pressure. He asked for his medicine, but the latter was given to Arayik Khandoyan very late near 23:00 PM. All these actions are evaluated as a means of silencing him. The fact that he was kept in inhumane conditions was already a punishment for him.
