{"id":45198,"date":"2026-08-19T08:22:37","date_gmt":"2026-08-19T04:22:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/prwb.am\/2026\/08\/19\/prwb-submits-report-on-anti-armenian-discrimination-in-azerbaijans-education-system-to-un-high-commissioner-for-human-rights\/"},"modified":"2026-08-27T09:52:59","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T05:52:59","slug":"prwb-submits-report-on-anti-armenian-discrimination-in-azerbaijans-education-system-to-un-high-commissioner-for-human-rights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prwb.am\/en\/2026\/08\/19\/prwb-submits-report-on-anti-armenian-discrimination-in-azerbaijans-education-system-to-un-high-commissioner-for-human-rights\/","title":{"rendered":"PRWB Submits Report on Anti-Armenian Discrimination in Azerbaijan\u2019s Education System to UN High Commissioner for Human Rights"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Protection of Rights Without Borders NGO (PRWB) has submitted an input to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights for the preparation of a report pursuant to Human Rights Council Resolution 57\/24, \u201cEducation as a Tool for Preventing Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.\u201d&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>The document presents evidence of how Anti-Armenian discrimination has been systematically incorporated into Azerbaijan\u2019s education system, including school textbooks, children\u2019s literature, patriotic education programmes, commemorative events, and university curricula.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p>The findings presented in the report indicate that education in Azerbaijan has been used as a means of systematically disseminating racial stereotypes against Armenians, constructing a collective enemy, and normalising hostility.
