Particularly, the Court has asked the parties to clarify whether Marina Poghosyan has been subjected to the inhumane, degrading treatment and whether the examination (investigation) for the violation against her was effective.<\/p>\n<p>It should be highlighted, that this is one of the rarest cases, when the violation against the human rights defender during his\/her professional activities in Armenia became an issue of investigation by the European Court of Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p>The Government of the Republic of Armenia should be able to justify, that the fact of subjecting the human rights defender to oppression and humiliation in front of her client has been properly and effectively investigated.
