the capacity of conducting human rights trainings, documentation of human rights violations, conducting of sectoral evaluations, research, as well as practices human rights protection.<\/p><p>The Organization is actively involved in the policy elaboration processes on human rights, judiciary, good governance and security sector. The Organization also provides alternative opinions and remarks on the human rights related draft laws.<\/p><p>The alternative reports, opinions and evaluations presented by the Protection of Rights without Borders NGO are adopted by a number of international organizations\u00a0 (<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/HumanRightsinArmeniaStateofPlayin2015andPerspectives.pdf\">Council\u00a0 of\u00a0 Europe<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/default.pdf\">Venice Commission,<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/2015.pdf\">U.S<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/2016.pdf\">State Department<\/a>)\u00a0and are used by the latter as a reliable source of information. The Organization has successfully implemented long-term and coordinated judicial thematic monitorings, such as\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/REPORT-ON-ADMINISTRATIVE-JUSTICE-RESULTS-OF-THE-MONITORING-OF-ADMINISTRATIVE-LEGISLATION-AND-COURT-PRACTICES.pdf\">administrative\u00a0 justice<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2013\/12\/15\/report-monitoring-outcomes-court-cases-military-crimes\/\">military\u00a0 crimes etc<\/a>., as well as\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2016\/12\/24\/report-experience-citizens-court-watch-program-armenia-georgia\/\">evaluation<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0of\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2013\/08\/24\/report-sentencing-policy-ra\/\">courts<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2011\/12\/25\/report-key-issues-ra-administrative-justice\/\">functioning<\/a>. The Organization has conducted thematic researched on\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2014\/12\/23\/legal-research-terms-conditions-conducting-expertise-persons-disability\/\">mental\u00a0 health<\/a>, probation system in Armenia,\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2015\/07\/14\/evaluation-report-prospective-penitentiary-system-reforms-republic-armenia-establishment-probation-service-armenia\/\">problems\u00a0 on\u00a0 penitentiary\u00a0 system<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2014\/10\/29\/institute-full-disability-ra\/\">protection of\u00a0 children\u2019s rights<\/a>,\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/2014\/04\/17\/research-peculiarities-early-conditional-release-system-republic-armenia\/\">characteristics\u00a0 of the early\u00a0 conditional release before\u00a0 serving the sentence\u00a0 and on other sectoral issues<\/a>.<\/p><p>The Organization has conducted projects directed at the\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/category\/educational-learning-materials\/\">human\u00a0 rights\u00a0 education<\/a>\u00a0 for the officer and commanders\u2019 staff of the armed forces, military police representatives, judges, prosecutors and lawyers.<\/p><p>During the period of 2013 and 2016, the Organization has\u00a0 provided\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/category\/human-rights-reports\/\">free<\/a>\u00a0 legal consultation on\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/prwb.am\/new\/hy\/category\/human-rights-cases\/\">human rights<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0violations. Within the three years, the Organization has received approximately 792 applications from the citizens, based on which, taking into consideration the nature of the presented problems, criminal, civil and administrative applications, complaints (including also reports on the crime) were submitted to the court of appeals and court of cassation.<\/p><p>Since 2013 the organization is providing free legal consultation on cases of human rights violations.<\/p><p>During the past 3 years the NGO had almost 800 such cases based on which judicial representation has been also implemented. Some of those cases are still ongoing.<\/p><p>Since 2009 PRWB has prepared and presented 70 applications to the European Court of Human Rights.
