Human rights protection in security sector includes the principals of legitimacy, respect towards human and citizens’ rights and freedoms in law enforcement system, as well as maintainance of publicity and transparency of the activities by the bodies ensuring security in armed forces.
In this regard, the Organization implements a number of initiatives directed towards the implementation of the reforms in the RA Armed Forces, law enforcement bodies, and penitentiary institutions, as well as towards the decrease and prevenetion of human rights violations through educational progams, research, special opinion and presentation of the the raised violations.
