Among the inititative directed towards the security sector, the Organization has constantly made assessments on the monitoring of police activities, activity reform assessments, where the current problems in the police system and the solutions are presented. For the ensurance of human rights protection in law enforcement sector, the Organization has inititated judicial cases.
The Organization has undertaken the legal protection of rights of the citizens, journalists, activists who suffered the ill treatment of the police activities during the “Sari Tagh” events in July 17-30 of 2017, “Electric Yerevan” movement against the raise of electricity prices, as well as the parents rights of the soldiers died in peaceful conditions.
