Good Governance is defined as a governance principle, during which the state provides sufficient services to the citizens and ensures their participation in the governance process.
“The Protection of Rights without Borders” non-governmental organization adheres the approach that good governance should be implemented according to governance principals, which enable to evaluate the governance efficiency.
Governance principals are
- Enabling citizens to participate in the formulation of the government
- Enabling citizens to be heard and public accountability
- Political staidness and absence of violence
- Quality of public services
- The process of elaborating targeted policy of the Government
- The quality of law implementation
- The oversight of corruption.
Project on efficient governance directed towards the public administration reforms, detection of corruption risks and their decrease have been implemented by the Organization.
The Organization has also conducted a number of initiatives on the opportunities of public participation in decision making processes and on the insurance of their practical implementation.
The Organization conducts continuous activities directed towards the awareness raising of the governance efficiency, training organization through the elaboration and dissemination of supported documents in this regard.
Promoting the Rule of Law in the Post-Soviet Region through State and Non-State Collaboration
