The report on “The Problems of the Disciplinary Police in the RA Armed Forces” is the summery of the research outcomes on the disciplinary and criminal sanctioning policy in the RA Armed Forces elaborated by the “Protection of Rights without Borders” NGO.
The Project is directed at the research of the issues regarding the disciplinary and criminal sanctioning in the RA Armed Forces and at the elaboration of one united policy, in this regard. The project is based on the qualification of the violation in the RA Armed Forces and based on this on the issues regarding the practice of sanctioning the soldiers. The limits and criteria of the disciplinary and criminal sanctioning for the same conduct of the soldiers are not sometimes clear. This leads to the demonstration of arbitrary attitude towards the soldiers by the bodies in charge of conducting the proceeding, as well as towards conducing of one united criminal sanctioning (hereinafter as “punitive policy”).
The respective recommendation based on the outcomes of the research were elaborated by the Organization directed at the sanctioning definition of the actions against the military service in the RA, as well as at the elaboration and implementation of the one united policy.
